In this discourse, Uppalavaṇṇā is rebuked by Māra, who says a beautiful woman like her should fear rogues when alone in the forest. Uppalavaṇṇā dismisses Mara and such fears, saying she can use her psychic powers to defeat thousands of rogues like him.
